District 4 Town Hall Set for June 2 in Bunnell

Mark your calendars, Bunnell residents, because your local government actually wants to hear from you. Yes, really.

Flagler County has rolled out the welcome mat for District 4 folks, scheduling a town hall meeting for Tuesday, June 2, 2026. This is your chance to speak directly to the people who make decisions about your roads, your parks, and whether that pothole on your street will ever get filled.

When and Where to Show Up

The event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. and wraps up by 8:00 p.m. at the Hidden Trails Community Center, conveniently located at 6108 Mahogany Blvd in Bunnell. That gives you two full hours to ask the questions that have been keeping you up at night, or at least mildly annoyed during your morning commute.

County Commission Chair Leann Pennington will be running the show, so expect things to stay on track. She and other local officials will be on hand to field your questions, listen to your concerns, and hopefully provide some answers that actually make sense.

Can't Make It in Person?

No problem. The county has entered the 21st century and will be livestreaming the entire event. You can participate from your couch in your pajamas, which honestly sounds pretty appealing. Just remember to unmute yourself if you want to be heard.

Why These Meetings Matter

County commissioners host these town halls periodically because democracy works better when people actually show up and say what's on their minds. It's your opportunity to bring up everything from development concerns to park improvements to whatever else is happening in District 4 that deserves attention.

Think of it as your chance to be heard without having to navigate the slightly intimidating atmosphere of a formal commission meeting. Plus, there's something satisfying about asking questions directly to the people who can actually do something about them.
