Palm Coast Firefighters Rescue Dachshund Stuck in Brake Rotor
A dachshund named Bam-Bam had a ruff day in Palm Coast after getting his head wedged inside a brake rotor—but thanks to quick-thinking firefighters, the curious pup walked away unscathed.
Rescue Operation
Flagler County Fire Rescue responded to the unusual call earlier today, dispatching Engine 57 to free the trapped dog from the automotive part.
The crew—Lt. Hunter, Driver/Engineer Kendra, and Firefighter Calio—carefully worked to extract Bam-Bam's head from the metal rotor, coordinating their efforts to avoid injuring the animal during the delicate operation.
Happy Ending
After the successful rescue, Bam-Bam was reported to be unharmed and presumably ready to find his next adventure—hopefully one that doesn't involve automotive parts.
