FlaglerCares Marks 25 Years of International Overdose Awareness Day

FlaglerCares is recognizing International Overdose Awareness Day 2026 in Palm Coast as the observance marks its 25th year. This year’s theme, “25 Years On. Still Needed,” focuses on remembering people lost to overdose and the impact on families and communities.
The organization said overdose prevention efforts include timely access to care, education and life-saving interventions. International Overdose Awareness Day also encourages public discussion of overdose and evidence-based prevention measures.
