Gas prices in Palm Coast reached $4.29 per gallon on April 2 — the highest price recorded since tracking began — after a rapid climb that saw a 30% week-over-week increase. The week averaged $3.90 per gallon compared to $3.00 the prior week.

The price trajectory over recent weeks shows an aggressive upward run: $3.29 on March 5, $3.49 on March 9, $3.59 on March 11, $3.79 on March 17, $3.99 on March 29, $4.19 on March 31, and $4.29 on April 2. Prices have risen on each of the last three consecutive data points.

Palm Coast prices are currently 23% above the tracking-period average of $3.50 per gallon. The current price also stands $1.42 above the recorded low of $2.87 observed on March 3 — a 50% increase in just one month, making this one of the sharper spring fuel cost surges in the platform's coverage area.
