Matanzas Woods Parkway Loop Road Groundbreaking 🚧🚧

Palm Coast is breaking ground on a $25 million state-funded road project, which means someone has finally decided to do something about regional connectivity in the northwest part of the city. The Matanzas Woods Parkway Loop Road gets a new multi-lane roadway and, perhaps most excitingly, a bridge over the Florida East Coast Railway that will eliminate an at-grade rail crossing. If you have ever sat at that crossing waiting for a train while questioning your life choices, this one is for you. City officials, elected leaders, and project partners will all be there looking appropriately pleased with themselves. The public is welcome, the speeches will be brief, and the shovels will be shiny.
